Home battery installer in Flanders
A home battery stores the electricity from your solar panels for the evening and flattens your peak consumption for the capacity tariff. Roakus-E first calculates whether it pays off for your consumption, then installs a system that matches your solar panels, your inverter and your digital meter. We explain the Belgian specifics in English where needed.

What we install
We install home batteries with existing solar panels and as part of a new installation with panels and inverter. The choice of capacity and brand depends on your annual consumption, the output of your panels and how your consumption is spread over the day. A family that is away during the day gets more out of a battery than a household that already uses its solar power while the sun shines.
- Home battery with existing solar panels, with a hybrid or separate inverter
- New installation with solar panels, inverter and battery in one project
- Backup function so fridge, heating and lighting keep working during a power cut
- Smart control that lets the battery work together with your EV charger or heat pump
- Registration with Fluvius and fuse box adaptation where needed
Does a home battery still pay off without a subsidy?
The Flemish premium for home batteries has gone, and yet more batteries are being installed than ever. The reason is the capacity tariff and the low price paid for electricity you export to the grid. Every kilowatt hour you use yourself instead of selling is worth more than it used to be. Whether it pays off for you depends on your consumption profile, your contract and the price of the installation. That is why we calculate it first with your real figures from the Fluvius app, and give you a payback period instead of a promise.

Solar panels
If you do not have solar panels yet, we look at the whole: panels, inverter and battery as one system, so the parts are matched to each other. You can also come to us to replace an old inverter or extend an existing installation. Read more on the solar panels page.
How it works
Look at your consumption
We ask for your consumption data and look at your solar panels and your fuse box.
Calculation and quote
You receive a proposal with capacity, brand, price and a realistic payback period.
Installation
Usually in one day. We mount the battery, connect it and set up the control.
Inspection and registration
We arrange the inspection and the registration with Fluvius and explain how to read the app.
Where we work
We work across Flanders. These areas have their own page with what to expect locally.
Frequently asked questions
What does a home battery cost?
The price depends on the capacity, the brand and the inverter that goes with it. After the site visit you receive a fixed price in the quote.
Do I need a hybrid inverter?
Not always. With an existing installation we often choose a battery with its own inverter. For a new installation a hybrid inverter is usually the best choice.
Can a home battery provide backup power?
Yes, if we install a backup function. A number of circuits then keep working during a power cut. That requires an adaptation in the fuse box.
Does a home battery have to be registered?
Yes, with Fluvius, the grid operator. We do that registration for you, together with the inspection.
Do you install solar panels as well?
Yes, also as part of a new installation with a battery. We then match panels, inverter and battery to each other.
