EV charger installation in Flanders
A charger at home is the cheapest and easiest way to charge an electric car. Roakus-E installs chargers at homes and businesses across Flanders, takes care of the right connection and protection, arranges the inspection and the mandatory registration with Fluvius. We handle the whole process in English if you prefer.

Charger at home
For a home we choose together the power that matches your connection: 7.4 kW on a single-phase connection or 11 kW on three phase. We check whether your fuse box can take a separate circuit, add the required residual current device and protection and mount the charger in a spot that is practical for the cable and the car.
If you have solar panels, we set the charger to charge on solar power by preference. Combined with a home battery or smart control we also limit the peak for the capacity tariff. In the city the charger has to be on private ground, a garage, courtyard or driveway, since the pavement is public domain.
- Charger of 7.4 kW or 11 kW, with or without fixed cable
- Separate circuit and protection in the fuse box
- Dynamic charging that adjusts the power to the consumption in the house
- Smart charging on solar power
- Inspection and registration with Fluvius
Charger for your company car
If you drive an electric company car, your employer or leasing company usually wants the charging consumption measured separately. We install chargers with a certified meter that records the consumption and link them to the platform your employer uses. That way your home charging is reimbursed correctly. Many of our customers around Antwerp and the research campus in Mol are international staff with a leased car; we take them through the process in English.
Chargers for businesses
For small businesses, shops and apartment buildings we install several charging points with load management, so the available power is shared fairly without having to upgrade the main connection. With a charging card or app you can track consumption per user and have it paid for if you want.

Frequently asked questions
What does a home charger cost installed?
The price depends on the brand, the power and the cable route to the fuse box. After the site visit you receive a fixed price in the quote, including installation, protection, inspection and registration.
Do I have to register my charger with Fluvius?
Yes, that is mandatory for every home charger. We do the registration for you as part of the installation.
Do I need a three-phase connection?
No. On a single-phase connection you install a 7.4 kW charger, which is enough for most households to charge fully overnight. For 11 kW you need three phase.
Can the charger charge on my solar panels?
Yes. We set the charger so it uses the surplus from your panels and only draws from the grid when needed.
Do you install chargers for businesses too?
Yes, including load management across several charging points and access with a charging card or app.
