What we install

Electrical work is the basis of everything we do. A good installation is invisible, but you notice it every day: no breaker that trips when the oven and the dryer run together, sockets where you need them and a fuse box in which every circuit is legibly labelled.

We do small jobs as well as complete projects. You can come to us for:

  • New electrical installation for a new build or a full renovation
  • Replacing old wiring, sockets and switches
  • Fuse box replacement or extension, with residual current devices and earthing to the AREI code
  • Indoor and outdoor lighting, including LED lighting and dimmers
  • Smoke detectors, intercom, video door entry and badge systems
  • Network cabling and home automation for lighting, shutters and heating
  • Installations for small businesses, shops and practices
  • Bringing an installation into order after a failed inspection

Who we work for

Most of our customers are owners who are renovating or have bought an older house. It often starts with one problem, a fuse box without a residual current device or an inspection report full of remarks, and then the rest of the installation turns out to be due as well. We go through it with you honestly: what has to be done, what can wait and what is smart to include now because the walls are open anyway.

We help landlords bring a property into compliance for a new tenant. Small businesses and shops come to us for three-phase power, workshop lighting and connecting machines, with a schedule that works around opening hours. A large part of our customers around Antwerp is international; we handle the whole process in English and explain the Belgian rules along the way.

Inspection and the AREI code

Every new or thoroughly renovated installation in Belgium has to be inspected by an accredited inspection body. We work to the AREI code from day one, so the inspection is a formality. We supply the single-line diagram and the layout plan, book the inspection if you want us to and are present when the inspector comes.

Has your installation failed the inspection? Send us the report. We translate the remarks into a concrete plan with a price, carry out the changes and have the re-inspection done.

Frequently asked questions

What does an electrician cost per hour?

We prefer to work with a fixed price per job, so you know where you stand in advance. For small repairs we charge an hourly rate plus travel. You always hear the rate beforehand.

Does my fuse box need replacing?

If it has no 30 mA residual current device, if it still uses screw-in fuses or if you regularly see a fuse trip, replacement is usually the best choice. At a site visit we tell you honestly whether it is needed.

Do you arrange the inspection?

Yes. We draw up the single-line diagram and the layout plan, request the inspection from an accredited body and are present at the check.

Do you also work in Antwerp city?

Yes. We work from Mol across the whole province, from Turnhout to Mechelen and in all districts of Antwerp. For larger jobs in the city we plan the days consecutively.

Can I call you for a small repair too?

Certainly. A faulty socket, a switch or a light that no longer works: we come by and usually fix it in one visit.
